I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the Living History thanks Elvin.......being educated in the proper etiquette for adorning and removing hats in front of an officer is something that I really enjoyed.....especially when he offered me a drink and sweet innocent me expected at the least some ale, but alas, i only recieved water. Sue, may i suggest that Mistresses be offered some form of alcohol to help keep the smile on our faces when having to sit and pay attention!
As for the AGM, surely they know by now that they're going to pull a crowd for this, will they ever set it up properly so that it's big enough to accomodate everyone and also so that we can all hear?!

There are times when, despite my time-hardened cynicism, I feel quite proud of this regiment and the people in it. The above set of comments only go to confirm that. Well done to all for so triumphantly making a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
