Could we have a chatty thingy like facebook has, members only of course.
Can we also have something that allows us to upload video's to the website?
We could put members only videos on then (such as sumo wrestling), but if we had any good video's of the regiment as a whole from an event, visitors to the website could then look at them too.
Could someone give the tortoise a kick up the arse to get this thing working faster :(
I would recommend that you use Facebook for that. It is possible to use chat on here, but consider that there is probably only ever one person on the website at a time, it might be a very lonely chat... Facebook is more designed for this type of thing.

I have looked for this type of thing for the other site I run, and haven't come up with a good solution. Videos can take up a lot of space, which Youtube is designed to support and the hosting of this website isn't. A way of doing it would be to set up a regimental youtube account which could then host videos you want to make available. Facebook could also be used.
